Westabou is Augusta, Georgia’s 10-day celebration of the fine and performing arts.  The Augusta Tango Mini Festival has been a part of Westabou since it’s inception.  There are many things to do and enjoy in Augusta during this time.

Westabou has contacted several hotels to accommodate the city’s visitors.

The Marriott Convention Center is within walking distance to our festival venues.  The Augusta Marriott Hotel & Suites is also connected to the complex.

However, Diane and I highly recommend the Baymont Inn & Suites/Augusta Riverwatch.  The beds are comfortable and the rooms are very clean and modern.  This hotel is a 10 minute drive from our venues, straight down Riverwatch Parkway.  Baymont Inn also offers free hot breakfast, free wireless internet access, and free parking.

There are 15 non-smoking Queen/Queen guest rooms reserved for arrival on Friday, September 30 and departure on Sunday, October 2, 2011.  The rate available for tango festival participants is $72 single or double occupancy, plus 13% tax and a $1 per night local fee.

This is a special Augusta Tango Club rate and is less expensive than the regular Westabou rate.

Please contact the hotel directly at 706-733-5900 to reserve your room no later than Friday, September 16, 2010. Any rooms not reserved by that date will be released for resale. The hotel has agreed to honor the rate as long as they have standard guest rooms available.
